Fucking Comcast is really pissing me off. For the past 5 days I loose Internet from 12am-6am like clockwork for "maitnence". It comes and goes so all night I've been posting from the old iPhone (which I do love) but can't typeas fast posting. Tonite espically sucks since I can't sleep and all there is to do is watch hbo porn and browse the city. FUCK COMCRAP end rant
now my TV is out with the dreaded "seraching for signal, one moment" isnt the point of cable NOT to see that shit? isnt that like something u see when u have a dish? fuck im done payin $140 a month for cable internet and home phone service i dont even need.
Comcast pisses me off.... One day I'll stop paying $170 a month for cable/internet/home phone.... but i seriously can't find anything cheaper for the three.... It seems a bit odd paying that much tho, doesn't it? I have HD DVR...with HBO and Starz.... 16mbps internet... and the phone... still feels like an awful lot of money. yet i don't know what i'd do without cable.
and thats where they get ya too is the bundles. i dont need home phone. i work for a damn cell phone company and get great service at my house and dont pay a dime for it. but if i get rid of home phone it only saves me like $5, but if you get it by itself its like $30. theyre such bastards. i can get the cheap slow internet and just give me HBO and im happy. but it really doesnt save more then $10-$15. plus in massachusetts there is no competition and they monopolize off it. its such bullshit. i wish AT&T had services other then cell reception in mass cuz for 1 id get a screamin deal on u-verse tv and high speed. (btw u-verse is the fucking coolest shit ever and blows comcast's 'on demand out of the park) i hate monopolys in the damn communication business (yet i work for 1)
same shit here, i only have comcast internet and it goes out at like 12:15, shit sucks cuz thats all i have, no cable, but i have netflix on my xbox so thats all i need. oh and my boy just told me he can get anyone free internet cuz he has a program on his comp that records everything you do and he set it to record when he got his shit set up. so he can get free internet by setting up the modem like the comcast guys do. but you need the gray surf board modem. free internet ftw

Yeah, I don't really have any problem with the service. Its definitely rare when I lose any connection. There was a point tho when my HD DVR went haywire and I had to do an exchange about 4 times in a matter of days. Each DVR they gave me was fucked up - and one time they gave me one that clearly had a tag on it that it was defective. Good job guys!
