got this grow light from a friend, but I'd like to upgrade my system. so I'm getting rid of this. I can't tell you much more than the model is called the "FUNKTION JUNCTION" locally made, by a company called "COMMISION LED & CFL GROW LIGHTS". They are a new grow light company specializing in LED and CFL technology. They will be releasing there first line of lights this spring. This is mainly an LED Grow Light hood. In the picture I have 2 23watt & 1 65 watt CFL bulbs. I can sell it with those bulbs, or without, and you could get any CFL or any type of bulb you want. you could easily get 3 65 watt CFL Bulbs (or bigger) in there and have plenty of light for growing. This is a great light for anyone who is getting into growing and just wants something that won't sky rocket the electric bill!!! Also a great option for adding color spectrum into an existing grow. throw in a few of those colored CFL Bulbs (red, blue, orange) to really bring your grow to the next level. LED's are the future, they are practically free to power and as you know CFL's are great!! this light is bomb for vegging, can't attest to it's flowering but if you want a very cheap light that comes with 115watts of extra bright light being directing directly at your plants get this!! it can easily be changed to manage 200+ watts depending on bulb size!! feel free to contact me at Dan-Man@newschoolers.com
yeah, you need a lot of cfl's to be compatible with an hps. cfl's just dont' penetrate like hps. you can get a 150 hpd for 50 bucks, let alone a 600 watt for under 200.
