Just because a substance may not cause death at high doses, does NOT mean it's a good idea to consume a ridiculous dosage. It can and will be very, very unpleasant. If you are going to give advice, make sure it's good advice.

 

i have overdosed a few times,even on 10mg and i'm rarely sober the past year and half.
i can see how people end up in the ER by taking high amounts.

to OP,if you get the legit stuff,start off with 5mg.
natural tolerance can be very low or very high.

 

Actually some places do make high THC edibles, I've seen 500mg before, and yes you can definitely overdose on THC.
