    I highly doubt that these "fruit inspectors" are only looking for apples or oranges but instead drugs or paraphernalia. I dunno how you blades in Socal let these quasi-police officers search your lunch boxes :rolleyes:

    Go the back way. I see more live coyotes running down the road than other vehicles on most trips. There aint no checkpoints out there. Avoid teh Baker route and you're good.

    jas43, on an unrelated note (saw your sig!) - Hofbräu Original and HB Hefe are some of my favorite beers. If you haven't already, you must try: Augustiner Bräu Edelstoff, Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse, & Paulaner Original Münchner. Gotta love German beers!

    i live in cincinnati and we have a Hofbrauhaus downtown.
    hefe is definitely my favorite

    I have never had any problems with them. They always have just waved me through. I understand the commercial check point for CA. CA produces more agriculture then any other state. An out break of some sort could be devastating on an already devastated economy. But what they were trying to pull was bullshit.

    That was fucking hilarious. The Downfall parody had me cracking up when I first saw it. This video pretty much confirms my thoughts on public sector employees--they're a unique and 'special' bunch.

    Threaten legal action to see if he was lying... 'do you want to take off'?
