from blizzards in arkansas to wedge tornadoes in alabama on christmas day

  1. today was historical! historical snowstorm in most of oklahoma and arkansas, maybe parts of tennessee. 6 inches + in a lot of places. and of course the horrible very wide wedge tornado in mobile, alabama and a few other destructive tornadoes in texas, lousiana, mississippi and other parts of alabama. not a good day. tons of no power'ed customers in the snow area with downded trees and powerlines, and collapsing roofs. this is quite a damaging low pressure system!
right on christmas day. :( poor families.

coming for me tomorrow, we are in the highest risk zone for the tornadoes. i shall be chasing, posting updates in this thread with pics. i have GRAnaylist on my laptop with a portable router/real time NEXRAD radar updates. this is a very potent system. it should start in roughly 9 hours. i'm ready mother nature!!!
