Hi All... This is just a friendly warning/reminder for ALL members. The rules are posted in each and every forum and should be read by each and every member before posting their first post. Things have become somewhat ugly around here with name-calling and disrespect and none of it will be tolerated any longer. The rules are in plain view so don't expect a lot of warnings to be issued before a ban occurs. We're all adults here and should know how to follow rules. If you don't want to follow the rules or can't follow the rules, then the forums of grasscity.com are not for you. We try to maintain a positive vibe here and many members seem to be trying to kill that positive vibe. No more. It's not going to be tolerated AT ALL. It doesn't matter if you've been here for 5 days or 5 years...if you can't follow the rules or you attempt to destroy the positive vibe that we're known for then expect to not be here much longer. Let me also go back to all of us being adults. This is an adult site. When someone registers here, they are agreeing that they are at least 18 years of age. If, for any reason, a member indicates that they are under the age of 18, they risk being banned from the forums of grasscity.com. I'd like to add that all of our Moderators, Super Moderators and Administrators are at least 18 years of age or older. I know that there has been some recent speculation about that but I can assure that I am correct in stating that we are all of age. So, in conclusion, please follow the rules and keep the negativity away if you want to remain a member of the City.
I think this friendly little warning/reminder is in plain view for everyone. The members that recently were banned had access to this thread and knew that some things just weren't going to be tolerated any longer. They also had access to the rules that are posted in every forum. A popular thread was closed (and archived) and several members were banned. Some bans were permanent and others weren't. A few bans occurred because the members were deceiving other members by having several different accounts, pretending to be different people. Besides being against the rules, that's just weird. If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me.
I've received a lot of PM's regarding the popular thread that was closed...very few regarding the bans. As of right now, another thread won't be made to replace that one. I've made suggestions for an alternative for the members that PM'd me about the thread. It was very cool to see members truly care about a thread that brought them together. It gave me a little more faith in the City and a little more faith that others really do see the City as their big stoner family. I was actually quite happy with most of the PM's that I received. They seemed to be from true Blades who dig this place and don't mind following some simple rules. Due to those PM's, another thread might be approved in the near future. Please be patient, though.
