there is no way to accurately give someone a DUI. He knows about the industries it could create, the space in jail etc. but he said he doesn't care, all he cares about is making sure people don't drive while high... What do you say to this? Or do you just... walk away?
Hahaha.Theres actually new studies that said when your under the influence of weed, your more careful while driving.Research it and prove him wrong bro.
He has a point to a degree. I mean he's right that there isn't really an accurate way or even a level to determine a persons highness like there is with alcohol. I don't think that that should be a reason to keep it illegal though for a few reasons. You don't need to be a certain level of high to be arrested for dui. If you're high, you're arrested. Simple as that, there's no grey area like there is with alcohol. Two, how often do you hear of somebody crashing their car because they were high? Almost never, I'm sure it happens but hell sober people crash all the time too. Tell you're friend he needs to be more reasonable and not think like a douche ;p
There was a show aired here in the UK a few years ago where they had this guy on who was a graphics designer that smoked weed, they made him go round a set of obstacles on a race track in his car sober then after he smoked half a joint and after he smoked he improved massively and everything was perfect. The organizers of the show were furious because they were hoping for the exact opposite, the show is called Fifth gear.

remind the narrow minded kid, they didn't have any test for DUI/DWI when the last prohibition was revoked...but they sure did develop a bunch of test soon after.
Your friend sounds pretty smart. Because we all know that it being illegal always prevents people from driving while high. Just like it prevents them from buying and smoking it in the first place....oh wait...
Some people can and some people can't drive Marijuana affects people differently. There is no way to regulate who can and cant drive under the influence. They should legalize weed, but you shouldn't be allowed to drive while high, same restrictions as alcohol. I think the rule for alcohol should be "no alcohol in body" instead of that 0.7 or w/e rule
cheers cball (Y) knew I did'nt dream it lol edit: wonder what they do in Holland when they see red eyes behind the wheel?
That won't work because alcohol is in many things. If you clean your hands with hand sanatizer or fill your car up with gas right before you get pulled over, you could test positive for alcohol. There should be a drivers test to take while you're stoned. If you pass it, then you're good to go. If you fail it, then you can't drive while high.
DUI is and will always be a problem regardless of the drug of choice. It's about a person being responsible and doing whats right. DUI is anything that alters your ability to drive safely. Think about all the cars you drive next to on your way to work, how many of them just got home from a night of partying and are at that moment DUI? Legalizing MJ will IMO, likely lead to a decrease in users because it will no longer have the "Rebel" status it has now. The people who use MJ now that have a need to rebel will find something else too use. The people who use MJ for their medical needs will have more access to the medicine the need in any state they travel too. The people who like to just get high with friends on Friday night in they're own yard will be able too enjoy this choice without the concern of jail time for staying home and obeying the laws of the land. This is my opinion based on 30 years of observing the people who I worked with or dealt with in the course of my job in the Military and Public Social Services.
added a few more colors..might as well since it was full of two already... that purple shit hurts the eyes...no need to color your text to drag attention to your post, unless it isn't worth reading to begin with.
Look at all my posts and see they are all the same but you are the only person that finds it... whatever it is that bothers you.
....kids...well...I did say but here; there ya go... I used your tactic in the re-quote since that seems to be what you understand. (and you missed it the first time)
I can only assume that you do not like the Red, White and Blue... Or maybe you missed it... Kid? I served 25 years in the Military... Not quite a snot nosed brat.....
thats fucking stupid. I've been so much closer to having accidents while sober or drinking. I drive a stickshift and smoke while im driving..
