freshness problems

air-tight, baby, aaiirrrr-tighht...

michaels has some pretty good air-tight glass jars, with the flip down lids that have rubber seals.

either that, or there's always tupperware

Anything airtight, dry, kept below 41 degrees and dark will keep your weed really fresh. i got an oz in the freezer and i pull out a few buds every week, toss em in my small jar and keep it in my drawer. it stays fresh.

Also don't put a little bit of weed in a big container or it will still dry out, try ot get as much as you can fit into whatever you are putting it, geta jar the right size for your buds.

My small jar is a "jamaican Jerk Seasoning" spice jar, the thick glass kind with a good screw on lid.

Yesh, the jars at Michael's work really well...and they're cheap too.

 

Ya, it's best to keep your bud in an airtight container. If it does get a little dry you can just put it into a ziploc bag with an orange peel or carrot and throw that into the fridge. That little trick will moisten your bud right back up.

Yeah, as long as the cookie jar is close to the size of the amount of weed you have.

 

And here i pose a question to anyone that may be reading..What would be the results if you took like a larger glass jar and designed it so you could put a small candle above the weed. You could light the candle then put the top on.. Whe the candle goes out, you know that there is no oxygen left in the jar. Any ideas?

 

keep it air tight and put it in the fridge. or put like a piece of an orange peel in there to moisten it up...

 

Wouldnt the candle create smoke upon its self extinguishment? Then youd have smoky bud before you even smoked it. Plus i never really believed in that little picture in the science book with a plant on one side and a burning candle on the other.

I have one of those vacume packers, the "seal a meal". It sucks out all of the air out of the bag. Would this work, or would it smush the hell out of the bud?

 

I always just little prescription pill bottles...they are perfect size for a couple nice sized buds.

TooSicks, (I know this is kinda random), but where to you buy Jamaican Jerk Seasoning? I eat at Wings restaraunt all the time and me and my friend got the waiter to give us the recipe for the Jamaican Jerk sauce and I need some of that seasoning for it.
