Personally, I don't think the water thing would work simply because water wouldn't make it better. I have smoked when the bud has been in the freezer for a while, didn't make too much of a difference. My favorite is putting a water pipe in the freezer until the water is nice and cold, makes a huge difference, especially with some added ice.

Youre suggesting trying to ignite water. No but, if you wanna get a bunch of kief into your catch, freeze the bud and grind it up. Yields mountains admittedly some green powder may get in there too, but you still get a lot more kief.. When you freeze the bud it dries out and becomes brittle, allowing many of the crystals to easily shake loose. I do this for edibles
