The Tibetans that made this clip were arrested shortly afterwards. My sister is in NYC this weekend for a Tibetan get together, and since not many people around here know the situation with China and Tibet, I thought I'd bring it up.

China is trying to destroy the Tibetan faith, and livelihood, they have been held as prisoners in their own country for way too long. So when you're watching the 2008 World Olympics, which will be held in China, just remember the people that are suffering, being murdered for trying to find their families, and that China is holding prisoner the second most important person in the Buddhist faith, the Panchen Lama.

  2. This is terrible, but it reminds me of the family guy clip.. "I'll take it! Hello China, I've got something you want, but it's gonna cost you. Thats right all the tea in china."

  3. the pain of tibet is so strong it can be felt around the world. The cuts are so deep that they may never heal.

  5. Well I just watched that video Rasta, and I know quit e a few Tibetan families in my town that I talk to on a regular basis. They have been exiled from Tibet, they still have family members stuck in Tibet, and if they try to return, they will be killed or taken prison by the Chinese government. The Tibetans still inside of Tibet want their Lama back, he was their spiritual leader, the Chinese kidnapped the Panchen Lama, and then replaced him with someone else, not the rightfully chosen Lama. This could have devastating effects on their whole religion, just because of the Chinese. I really don't believe that the Chinese are making it a better place then the old Tibet, you can't leave, they'll shoot you if you try, you can't get back in once you left, not even to talk to your family, it's devastating for these people.

I think the Chinese need to leave and Tibet can sort things out on their own, and be reunited as a people again.

  6. This sounds like every roleplaying game I ever played....Something big always happens afterword when true elder returns....

This is really depressing, every religion is at war or under attack....

Off to the Carribean people,I can't stand this anymore.
