anybody in a frat? Or thinking of joining? i am thinking of joining a frat, i am a freshman in college and have found that there isnt much to do on the weekends if you aren't in a frat. i have moved to my college from out of state, so of course i dont have a large base of friends that i previously knew, and am at a loss when it comes to establishing solid weekend plans. the guys in my dorm and i find a pretty good fair here and there but no awesome parties yet. we cant smoke in the dorm so that cuts back on the fun, so its mainly drinking of cheap beer (keystone light). my fear is that most frats you have to deal with the stereotypical bullshit; same dip shits with popped collars...you know the people and the scene. i dont think im one to relinquish my identity to become a follower of the way of the booze hound frat guy womanizer. I enjoy the ladies and drinking but I don't consider my self one of these people, its just so cliché… do yall like the big party scene with lots of dancing, rap music, and booze? i mean, i do some of the time but im always down for a much more laid back scene, smoking a bowl and listening to some GOOD music, and having a few beers hanging out with good looking women, its hard to obtain when everything is so focused on pop culture. is there such a thing as a stoners frat? b/c i certainly hope so
