Framing a vinyl???

  1. Hey guys, I dont usually make threads but I need some help/ ideas.

I bought my dad a rare scorpions album that he use to have but lost in katrina and I wanted to frame it but I dont want to spend 80$ on a special vinyl frame.

Does anyone know of a good way to set something up with just regular frames??
I was going for this look. I dont want to damage anything though..

  2. Places like Joanns and Container Store sell ready to go Vinyl frames (it's usually just the album cover though) for about $15 or so. If you look hard enough you can probably find something similar to the above for maybe $30

  3. I think we have a Joanns around here Ill have to check it out. I found sites online but they are really expensive..

  4. I found one at hobby lobby for 20$. Its alright.. I figure he can reframe it if he wants too.

  5. How is he gonna listen to it in a frame though? Vinyl is for listening to not looking at!

  6. Lol I know but he just likes to collect them. This one use to be his favorite and I figured honestly he will never play it. I dont even think he has a record player anymore.
