So I'm going to be growing only one plant so obviously I'm not getting the gallon sized bottles. So should I get the trio pack of growbig,bigbloom, and tigerbloom? also, do I folow their schedule of feeding or have one of you found a better schedule?
Yes the trio is great. It's what I use as well. Start the nutes out slow at like 1/4 strength and work up.
if you are using Fox farm ocean forest soil go slow on the nutes. the soil should be good for 2-3 weeks. But i use all fox farm products. Any one using or used, Beastie Bloomz, or Cha Ching? Want to kno if its worth the investment
I use all 6 FF nutes but the Beastie Bloomz seems like a waste to me. If you look at FF's feed schedules, Beastie Bloomz is only used for 2 weeks in a soil grow and only 1 week in a hydro grow. $30 is a lot to spend on a nute that you only use once or twice per grow. The upside I guess is that the jar will last a long time...
thats what i thought, maybe i'll go in on it with someone. Use it on 1 and see if there is any major difference like they say there is. thanks for the info though
I'm using all the FF trio, and the flowering nutes (open sesame, beastie bloomz, cha ching). This is my first grow. I just follow the schedule they give. I also use a cocktail to alternate between the feedings. I just use tap water too. I also use Ocean Forest. I'm really happy with Fox Farm as its so user friendly. I used full strength on Big Bloom, and really didn't notice any nute burn until I used a little more than needed of Grow Big. From then on, I used the 1/4 strength rule of thumb. I'm going to be using Fox Farm products for awhile until I really get around the block and feel confident about growing. Great stuff.....
