Fox Tails

  1. is this usually caused from heat/stress and or genetics?

    seems happen to my plants sometimes and other times it doesn't,

  2. Genetics and environment (heat stress) as well.
    Have had a few of my sativas foxtail when heat stress was non-existent.

  3. yeah i Got a purple kush thats just started fox tailing, i got maybe 3 weeks left max. but its definetly going to be an issue.

  4. I raised the lights up a bit, and cranked up the exhaust fan a little higher.
    lowerd the temps at the canopy
    hopefully that helps a bit.

  5. IME it is heat. If we get a blast of Indian Summer heat mid flower it'll kick up foxtails in about 30% of the plants. That last week of Sept heat is what does it from what I've figured out over several years growing in this spot.

    I like the little foxtails when I expect them

    mostly genetics, but can also happen with light/heat stress.
