is this usually caused from heat/stress and or genetics? seems happen to my plants sometimes and other times it doesn't,
Genetics and environment (heat stress) as well. Have had a few of my sativas foxtail when heat stress was non-existent.
yeah i Got a purple kush thats just started fox tailing, i got maybe 3 weeks left max. but its definetly going to be an issue. thanks man
I raised the lights up a bit, and cranked up the exhaust fan a little higher. lowerd the temps at the canopy hopefully that helps a bit. LAME any other experiences ?
IME it is heat. If we get a blast of Indian Summer heat mid flower it'll kick up foxtails in about 30% of the plants. That last week of Sept heat is what does it from what I've figured out over several years growing in this spot. BNW
haha made me think of thanos I grew last year I like the little foxtails when I expect them mostly genetics, but can also happen with light/heat stress. and if people don't like them... you can give them the one-finger salute
