Another fox News thread? Look, they provide some semblance of balance in an MSM that is dominated by left wing democrats. During the Bush years, every network and Hollywood was out to destroy Bush. Now all those same networks are in the tank for Obama and Democrats. They always were in the tank for democrats, but wen Republicans were in power it provided a check. Fox is all we have for a check now. Think about that. They also have the most balanced demographic of viewrs. Meaning an even balance of Republicans, Democrats and Independants. Foc's reporting sucks a lot of times, but I dont htink they're as biased as many make them out to be. I think the other networks are so titled to the left, that Fox appears to be tilted to the right. Which it is, dont get me wrong. I just dont think its to the same extereme as all the others are to the left.
All news networks suck. Fox, NBC, CNN, you name it, it sucks. If a news network has any partisan affiliation, it isn't a news network, it's a propaganda machine. The internet is where it's at.

I guess what I'm getting at is, I'm glad that there isn't a democratic monopoly on the mainstream media. They are damn close, but if this bullshit is going to continue, I'm glad its somewhat balanced.
CNN edits footage to fit their needs and acts as if they're Obama's personal sales people. There is nothing fair about that. They attack American citizens as "teabaggers" and racists, simply for expressing their 1st amendment rights. If it were Fox and Bush, you would not say they were fair. CNN is just as bad as MSNBC.

Just because MSNBC is spinning this stuff as false, doesn't make it so. Why did the house take that "death panel" provision out of the bill if it was nothing but misinformation? I find it interesting that MSNBC and CNN are suddenly in to the fact checking business. Where was that the last 8 years? They had no problems leading people to beleive just about anything about Bush. This is an NBC poll too, which is watched almost exclusively by Democrats. You cant beleive anything they say. Yeah, its te one network not towing the government line. So to sum it up. The left lies and spins and it's a horrible thing so thank god that Fox is there to lie and spin the other direction? Lesser of evils is still evil. Personally, I feel they are all traitors to this country (and the world actually). Mainstream news is for lazy people who would rather be lied to and manipulated than use their brains and common sense to at least try to find the truth (as elusive as it may be right now). I don't like Faux News because it always seems like the anchors are yelling about things (or at me). I'm ok with CNN, MSNBC, BBC and I'm smart enought to read through their spin(s). News Corps owns myspace, they own hulu, they have 70 subsidiary companies in countries classified as tax havens, 23 in the camen islands alone. They own a SHIT ton of web-space, all of which is used for statistical R&D for advertising. What News Corps succeeded in doing, was aligning themselves with the notion that what they think and do and say is "American" and those who disagree with them are "Unamerican." Sounds a lot like Facism doesn't it? I mean, give them props, considering they weren't even an American company until 2004(Originally an Australian company). Look at the majority of their watchers. Most of them still believe Obama isn't even a US citizen. The majority of them still think the healthcare proposal included "death panels." Although the bill is public record and available online to read, they trust that Fox News is giving them the honest and 'unbiased' interpretation of it, so they take it at face value, and become hatemongering automatons on a false cause. You know a News Corps subsidiary "Star Network" i believe it is, made headlines internationally because they hired a hacker to manufacture and crack satelite cards which when plugged in gave internet, movie channels, phone lines, etc. And they sold them on the black market. Got caught, hacker even went so far as to say how much money they paid him(tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands.) It cost the competition millions of dollars, but you don't hear about it. There was a time when journalism was a respected occupation because they were suppose to look out for we the people.
