And is this everything nutrient wise that i am going to need for the grow. Also how should my feed regime be do i just give them these when they are flowering or what? I would appreciate any input. Thank you everyone for the help Leslie
So far so good I'd say. I'd recommend mixing in some perlite with the ocean forest to help with drainage. I think 4 parts FFOF to 1 part Perlite should be a good mix. As for how much you'll need, a good rule to follow is one gallon of soil for every foot of plant growth. You shouldn't need much grow big and tiger bloom. Especially grow big since you're soil will already have nutes in it to get it most of the way through veg. Just one container of each will do. The big bloom goes a lot quicker because you have to use more. Although personally I just use less than recommended of the big bloom to help conserve it. I'd forgo the soluble nutes and save your money, as you can grow a perfectly good plant without them, but it's your call. A little secret ingredient is unsulphered molasses. Preferably blackstrap molasses, but if you can't find it, because I couldn't, standard unsulphered molasses works too. It feeds the microorganisms in the soil which are beneficial to the plant. Many people swear by the stuff. You won't need to start feeding for awhile due to the nutes in the soil but when exactly I can't say. You'll start using the tiger bloom when you start flowering. Do not over feed or over water, a common rookie mistake. Most people follow a regimen of feed-water-water, repeat.
http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf Follow that. It doesn't get a whole lot easier. Your first run through you can probably go at 3/4 or 4/5 directed just to avoid any nute burn problems, but it shouldn't really be an issue. If I follow that full strength certain strains will show minor nute burn, but nothing ever to cause problems or slow growth. After you are comfortable with the schedule you can possibly mix it up a bit and see what works for you. I change up the schedule some with a few extra products such as magical and hygrozyme. Also, like Viper said the solubles aren't necessary to grow a nice plant, but if you really want to grow some sticky-icky danky-dank they really help. Yes they are expensive, VERY expensive, but the small jars will last you forever. Mixed in with your other nutrients you use about a 1/4 tspn / gallon and that will last you literally years.
Oh one thing I forgot to mention is to make sure you have ph adjusters and a way to measure ph. Your plant will be able to absorb all the nutrients with a proper ph. Do Work, your comment on the the solubles interests me. Have you grown with and without them? I've never used them before.
