The flushing part at the end is an old school myth. With legalization actual science can be done on weed plants now. You want to like feed, water, feed, water etc. With about 20% runoff to remove excess salts. Always make sure to check your ph levels.
if you were in Hydroponics, dumping the rez every 7 days is typical along with flushing the lines got an issue you can then circulate for 24 hours before a reload aeroponics at least for me means nutes blocking steam valves ..lol good luck
