So I'm not a complete new grower I have three grows under my belt. I just can not seem to get the fox farm feeding tuned in right. I go 1/4 strength through the whole grow. I water probably once every 5 days, I use a water water feed schedule. I'm pretty sure it's salt build up in my medium and not over nutrient. I'm growing in 5 gallon containers it says feed twice a week. I use 1 gallon of water every time I water. I ph to ~6.5. No matter what I do I get a deficiency or a burn. How can I avoid this?? Heavy feeding on water days to flush any left over salts?? How ab a watering the day after I feed?? I can't go on and keep burning my plants, it delays harvest time and such. I'll gladly answer any and all questions
Could you post a pic? I would have to see this "deficiency or a burn" to try figure out what the problem is.
if you only feed every 15 days (water water feed, 5 days a peice) at 1/4 strength, then your not burning them with nutes. pics would help
also - what stage are you in the grow? 1 gal every 5 days seems a litle too logn to wait in between watering IMO
growing in fox farm happy frog, just put her in to flower so this is day two. Leaves are burning at the tips, some of the leaves appear to have chlorosis (maybe under fert?). If I am under fertilizing then why the burning leaf tips? I will try to get pics asap. Canapoy is thick, maybe leaves that are yellowing are from lack of light reaching them
