Ok, so I was back home for summer and and a few weeks before I'm about to go back to school my friend comes rushing over to my house saying he found a bunch of pot plants in his neighbors front yard. At first I didn't believe him but when I got there they looked alot like pot. There were at least six plants between 3 and 6 ft tall they were very sativish really thin not bushy at all and it looks like they started forming hairs. The only problem is the leaves are in sets of 3 and are really serrated, they look like pot leaves just really, really f'd up. They looked so much like pot but i still couldn't believe it because they looked so messed up. He thinks they might have sprouted from seeds he threw away in the garbage that fell out. I'm still skeptical but he went ahead and moved them into the woods cause his house is less than 100 yards from a cop station. I'll try to post some pics if I can get a hold of a camera . Most are wilting pretty bad now that he transplanted them. They actually look like they are forming buds, no bigger than a pea but starting. My real question is if anyone has seen a mutation or strain where the leaves come it sets of 3 or another plant which looks that similair?
^^^ problem solved. LoL.... Actually my cuz has some pot plants that only have three leaves right now... and they are pretty big. And they were bagseed, so I'm sure its possible.
Nope definitely not a japanese maple. My parents have one at their house so I know exactly what those look like. Besides its the leaves that are different, the body of the plant looks normal. Ill post some pics tomorrow to see if that helps.
