Forza Horizon

Contemplating getting this. HUGE fan of Forza 3 and 4 (never played 2) I know it's a little arcady, which is fine. NFSU 2 is one of my favorite racing games ever put out and if this is anything like that then id love it. I just want to know how many cars there are, customization, unlockables, and little perks here and there.

 

I'm thinking about getting it also.
I loved Forza 2 & 3. Played the demo and it seemed pretty awesome.

 

Dude its just like NFSU2 just less cheesy. The gameplay is identical. You race all around an open location to differnt types of races. ylu can customize cars. You can win random cars or money in the multiplayer that you can keep or sell on the single player. Overall this game is so sick. The best part is there are barn finds around the map with rare cars in them u just gotta find them

 

That sounds fucking sweet. Only thing is I was watching a vid and when the dude pulled up the mad it looked like it was just one long road with a few side roads. I loved in nfsu2 that it was a city with so many side streets and places to go

 

I'm debating on this or the new NSF coming out. Pretty much only need one driving game

 

This game left a bad taste in my mouth. I heard you cant even tune your cars???

you cant tune but you dont fucking need too... im so sick of people writing the game off because of that one minor thing... ive got thousands of hours in the forza series and this game is seriously fun. the car list is lacking but what it does have is pretty sweet although the ratio of euro to jdm/domestic is way off... there are more ferraris than there are japanese cars... overall i give the game a 9/10 only because of the car list. if they shipped with a second disk like 3/4 the game would be a perfect 10 in my book.

 

Just wondering if any of you guys have played Gran Turismo? Best racing series out there imo. Wayyy more options for cars and upgrades, and ultra realistic if you got the steering wheel and all

 

gt5 was so fucking terrible... i bought a ps3 for that shit... biggest waste of money ever. and it has way less upgrades than forza and only a small portion of the cars actually looked good. most of the cars were direct ports from the previous games and the audio in that game was pathetic...


and it was far from "ultra realistic."

horizon is cool but like what other people said needs more jap cars. hit me up if u wanna drift 'th lizard king'

Dude you must not be very into drifting on the game and irl. Tunes mean so much... hell just changing the tire pressure makes a ton difference.

Btw this games feels like need for speed and i got over those when i was 12.

 

Id agree that tuning is very important in building drift cars but honestly drifting in horizon is easy as hell so whats the point of tuning? And before you say idk about drifting im in the top 1000 in every forza 4 rivals event. I think its more about the driver then the car imo.
