Im in South Bend, I wasn't really happy when I saw this frost warning. Whereabouts are you at?

  6. What about the south western region, I'm worried because I can't tend to my babies.

  7. You don't have the weather channel there dude?

  8. an hour east of ft wayne

  9. Lake County, and smokey im sure one little cold spell won't do to much harm but if you can you should cover them just as a precaution its just to damn close to harvest to let the weather ruin your girls

  10. not to sure it may be statewide i know that the advisory/warning goes atleast to wabash i just dont know anymore towns or counties that are south of that...i would check online at the weather channels website

  11. I'm in southwest Michigan and I think we're fine. One light frost will be alright, that's if it even frosts in the first place. If it frosts again or we get a hard frost then you might have something to worry about.

  13. I can never tell when mine are going to finish. I use a lighted 30 power scope to check trics every day, when it gets close. I'm going to have to move my buckets soon, they will be taking the corn off. My property is surrounded by corn this year on 2 sides and beans on the other, I wish it was all corn one year. I hate giving them less light this time in the game.

  14. Well My girls are simply too tall and big to cover up. Unless I have a giant tarp and ladder. Which isn't happening. LOL...

  15. I think my neck of the woods will be alright though, plus it's just once. They can take up to two hard frosts as long as the first one isn't too harsh.

  16. everybody gets waaaay to scared and freaked out bout a lil bit of frost ..they will be fine ...a strong healthy plant will make it fine ..u just have to worry about hard freezes ..ive had plants make it outside for a looong ass time through many frosts with really no effect cept sum color change and slowed down growth ..

  17. haha yes it is! its nice to see a fellow regioner on GC

  18. Well, who had any frost? It was spotty here, and didn't hurt a thing.

  19. haha yeah i got out to my plot at around 8 or 9 and didnt see much rlly unless it all melted it still got down to lk 35 degrees here....the entire advisory stretched for lk 3 states so i can see why some areas mightve been a hit or miss

  20. I'm about Five minutes from the border of Indiana and no frost here. Girls are good. :)
