I enjoyed watching this and he really seemed passionate what he said. Quick correction though I am sure most of you know his statement about the Gallup Poll is true but it wasn't in regards to all drugs just marijuana. BBC News - Former Mexican president: 'US must legalise drugs to stop violence'
MJ would be a great 1st step. I think with so many Americans supporting weed legalization some politicians will get behind it, let's hope anyway....
Although the poll was about marijuana,,the same rules of market exist for off subject drugs that apply to the cannabis market,,where there is a demand,,etc. The only way to remove the violence and most of the health hazards from drugs is to remove the market. No laws will ever install morals and nothing anyone can do will "make" people not want to feel good,,,nothing.
damn this guy is really determined and straight on point, you guys understand he isnt talking about our wonderfull cannabis plants he means the problem that is found in border traficking all the other stuff basically driving the cartels out of business
Funny thing is, he was about to (and I mean, pen-in-hand) sign a law into effect in 2006 that would have decriminalized drugs in Mexico. An American ambassador approached him, in complete breach of protocol, while on the floor, and whispered to him briefly. Fox didn't sign the law. I always wondered what that Ambassador said to him. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/1259831...ning-drug-decriminalization-law/#.TqGALt6a9tk http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/1253589...ious-mexico-plan-legalize-drugs/#.TqF_396a9tk
