I don't know much about it, and I ask cause I'm seeing a Forensic Psychologist Tomorrow and the next day for my case. out of the 10 hours that was made and paid for I only see the Psychologist for a total of 2 hours and the rest is dealing with the lawyer and the case is what I understood. So if anyone has experience or how or what they do in those two hours I would like to know. All I know about them is this, they are charging me 350.00 a hour so the 10 hours they made is 3500.00 and is the career I should get into ya know lol. Btw I'm not some crazy ass person that killed someone, I'm seeing this Psychologist for drug charges, and ask why in the world I'm seeing for drug charges, well they are HUGE charges and my lawyer feels this is a crucial tactic. EDIT> I don't hate the fact that I have to see a psychiatrist about it but not knowing and not sure how he feels about cannabis and hope he is not biased about it which would suck and him say, you area ADDICT and blah blah. since htis is a forensic, this seems like more part of the SYSTEM type you know what I mean, you have money and money works with things like laywers and he just gets some info from me and uses it in court. Although I don't like the defense being used you know.. I know any criminal would love this you know but im not a criminal. I don't know what he wants to say as well as what he wants ask me. Feels a bit degrading to me to go though with it. I have to meet with him tommorow morning and right now I just want to say fuck it, ill be out of the money but fuck I don't wanna feel degrading, ah i hate this soo much. like I have two sides, the self that I am and no what I did was wrong to an extent but nobody feels this way about it, like this could not happen and that they are creating this other side that they think of me as and the the people fighting for me wants this side for a defense only.
The only difference between a psych and a forensic psych is that the latter works in conjunction with the police. His tack will not be very different at all to a regular psych, other than he may put slightly more emphasis on the illegality of your activities. It's really just a word. That is my ideal job, by the way.
Well it is a bit different, then a normal psych or at least mine was as he stated that right off the bat.
