Forcing into flower, few questions

  1. I am switching bulbs and light to 12/12 tonight. My dawn will start at the same time my dawn did for veg. It's on day 17 being out of the soil. I need to flower ASAP to harvest in December

Two are starving insanely. One has like 2 droopy leaves and on 2 the starter leaves are all yellow, fan leaves look great. Is this normal?

I read somewhere u should do 36 hours no light in between veg/ flower before u do 12/12. Is this true or needed?

  2. It isn't needed, some like it because it helps "jumpstart" the flowering process by allowing the plant to load up on flowering hormones uninterrupted by light

I usually do 36-48 or so, the plant has lots of neon yellow new growth when I pull her out, ready to get her stretch on

  3. Are my first two leaves being yellow normal? Now that the plant has I'd say 6-8 fan leaves

  4. Also I feel my soil is too moist to shut lights off for 36 hours and would create fungus or root rot with the moisture just sitting g there

  5. first leaves, being the lowest ones it grew first? I don't know about normal, but it's not a huge deal as long as the upper leaves are still fine

fungus is only an issue with buds, not plants just flipping to flower. root rot is an issue with improper drainage letting nasty stuff sit down there, not from normal healthy wet soil. You'll be fine.

  6. I feel like my pots need more holes because water sits down at the bottom for a week plus. And I water it till the water comes out of the bottom a little. Is it to late to add holes without stressing the plant?

And yes. The very first green leaves it grows. Two plants theirs are yellow. All fan leaves look great and stalks look awesome

  7. bottom leaves aren't a big deal, maybe you got it too hot or too dry sometime, and it started drawing from its leaves to stay healthy. Either way, if the new growth is good, don't worry much.

I wouldn't add holes, I'd be afraid of going in too far and hurting the roots. You probably don't have enough perlite either, I cut my soil 30-40% with it, helps TREMENDOUSLY

  8. I used 100% ffof. Said it had perlite in the mix. I am assuming not enough. Maybe on my 2nd grow.

When's a good time to get clones while in flower? I know I get the. In veg but not enough growth. Like 2nd week in flower before pistels show?

There's enough growth, you're just not patient enough.

As long as the plant gets more light than dark over 24hr periods it'll stay in veg. I have a plant I've been vegging for like 2 months, has pistils all over it, but not flowering clusters. I could clone off this one with no problem if I wanted (already raped another plant for clones tho, I'm gonna flower this big girl and get some nug!)

I'm sure you'd be ok cloning the first week or flower or so, but why do it wrong?

  10. It's got great growth for 17 days. I am talking about taking clones it's not enough growth to start stripping the bottom of the plant for clones.

I have family coming in December and that's why I need to flower ASAP and take clones while its in 12/12
