different state different laws and gotta love the norml site they provide some good information. Here in Ohio the laws are gravy cultivation is a minor misdemeanor under 100gs and a misdemeanor for 100gs- 200gs.
If you are caught growing, you are going to jail. Simple as that. Growing a narcotic (in their eyes) is not something taken lightly
