Hello, everyone! Since this is the artists' corner and I'm sure there are a few people out there who enjoy Pink Floyd just as much as I do, I thought I should post my tribute painting to their album "The Wall". It's sort of a fusion of music and visual art, if you think about it. This was done back in 2007 (damn, time flies by). It's actually really big (about 1.3 x 1.3 m, but don't quote me on that, I forgot the exact measurements) and comes up to my chest when I stand beside it. Done with acrylic paints on masonite, if anyone cares. All characters depicted here are copyright to Geralde Scarfe and Pink Floyd. <3
great work, its badass. i watched that movie for the first time a few months back, while I was super stoned. So freaky and deep. I had to watch it twice to fully understand.
Great artwork. I used to try similar stuff... get PF artworks and make one of my own... never really made it... 'The Wall' is a movie, I think.
Rock Opera, says Wiki. I like that too... rock opera... But for me, I'd like to think that it's a movie. That way, I can understand the songs and lyrics much better.
