Can't you show support for Swishers in another way? What's wrong with the GC thread?

I mean, I'm all for expressing my support, but the thing is... sometimes employers check Facebook out, and I'm willing to bet if they see your status as a member in these types of groups, well... you may or may not get hired, depending on your employer's demeanour. That's a reason why I didn't join groups like that. My high school had a "Cannabis Enthusiasts" page, and the dumb ass who made it included our school's mascot in the group display picture. Anyhow, the teachers found out about it and threatened the admins (not me, I was graduated) with counselling unless they took down the page.

This is probably an isolated occurance, though. I doubt employers for most service-level jobs will bother with these "background" checks, but you know never know.
