So I was asked about how I make my edibles but I couldn't send pics in an PM. So ill make this thread for everyone to use if they choose this method. So here it goes....

This is the crockpot I use to make the butter. It was only $10 at Walmart if you don't already have one. I would suggest a smaller kind of crockpot unless you are planing in making a lot at once.

Use two sticks and a bit of Unsalted butter.

And with a 1/4 cup of water put the butter in the crockpot on the "high" setting.

Once your butter is melted turn the setting to "low".

Grind up all your bud to a fairly fine powder so it's more likely to be infused in the butter. I use a half ounce of fresh bud, not trimmings.

Once added to the butter stir so its all mixed and looks like a dark green soup. This is when you let it sit anywhere from 16-24 hours. I know, it's a long time for some, but it does do the trick just have some patience.

Get a wire sifter and some cheesecloth to use as a strainer. Put the cheesecloth in the sifter.

Your gonna want to put this over a container that can fit in your fridge.

When ready take the soup mixture and pour it onto the cheesecloth. Press it down the a spoon or a small spatula.

Once you have the majority if liquid out, grab the corners of the cheesecloth and ball it up in the middle and continue the press.

After a while you can press with your hands. You don't want to press with your hands right away because it will be hot. I also like to use a rubber glove because I hate my hands feeling all greasy!

I press till I see no more drips. Not necessary, but why not? The but kinda looks like chewing tobacco once your done with it. It can be tossed right after the pressing.

Your melted butter should be a very dark green. If you move it around a bit it's looks like a vibrant green! Green gold that is! Let this sit in your fridge or a freezer to harden up. It should come out to a cup as long as you press enough butter out. I'm makin my cookies tomorrow so ill post the recipe to my favourite cookie medibles!
