    I have been really into folk music lately and was wondering if anybody could suggest some artists that are folk oriented

    Well my favorite artist is bob dylan, but I'm also really into woody guthrie, Pete Seeger, arlo guthrie, peter paul and mary, Donovan, artists of that nature. I know I've probably only scratched the surface of what there is.

    John Prine is pretty cool, but he may more country side i'm not sure.

    Bob Dylan and Nick Drake, for Drake get Pink Moon- its the shit. anyways neil young is also great but i wouldnt really completely classify him as folk
