Foliar spray every night?

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Oober_goober, Jun 28, 2019.

  1. I have a batch of compost tea brewing that was made from 10 cups of compost, 2 table spoons of molasses, and 3 or 4 tablespoons of kelp meal granules. It's been brewing for about 3 days now. I started with 1 tablespoon of molasses and added the 2nd one last night.

I was wondering if I could foliar spray every night or every other night, if I thin the tea out enough.
This is my first time growing so I don't want to kill my girls with too much love lol.

  2. Oops! The tea was brewed using about 10 gallons of water. I applied air for about 5 hours before adding the other ingredients

  3. Be careful, you don’t want them too wet at night.

  4. I found foliar spraying to be pointless so I stopped.

  5. Misting your plants should be done at dawn...lights first on

  6. Actually most foliar feeding should be done within 15 minutes of lights off while the plant stomata are still wide open. Nutrients are best absorbed while the stomata are still open. And they are their largest when lights are on which is when they’re transpiring the most.

  9. I actually just learned about the 15 minute window last night. Coincidentally I've been misting them about every 3rd evening with 1/10th strength tea as soon as they are completely shaded.

  10. Never spray your buds. The roots can do the job just fine. Keep your room as dry as possible.

  11. I foilar spray only while in veg and 2 every week at lights off.

  12. I'm doing outdoor. They're completely dry 20 minutes after I spray

  13. Agreed!! Holy shit I haven’t seen you post in ages Rumple! I may be looking in the wrong places but haven’t seen your username in a long while!

OP I foliar only in veg never in flower sorry forgot to mention that.
