Foil for keif?

    Hello blades :wave:
    Recently my friend told me about smoking keif off of foil. He said if you sprinkle it on, and head up the underside of the foil it heats up the keif and you suck the smoke in with a straw. I have heard of hot knifing, but the foil makes it kind of sketchy. Isn't this as bad a smoking out of a foil pipe? He was telling me it isn't because your not inhaling the burnt side, just the heated up keif. Anyone heard/know anything about it?

    Him and another person were smoking in a parking lot, using foil for the keif. It looked real bad because it looked like they where smoking harder shit. I was all sketched out because people where driving by and where like :confused::eek:

    That sounds like wayyyy more work then its worth.

    Smoking stuff off foil requires a certain amount of skill...
    ive smoked alot of stuff off foil.
    youll probaly just gonna waste you kief.

    its called freebasing, technically you could do it with weed but it is mostly used with hard drugs like heroin and meth.

    Well he was trying to tell me it's safe and it's better then throwing your keif in a bowl because the flame just torches the fuck out of it.

    uhh i dont think so... freebasing is the act of making the actual freebase with ammonia and shit.

    Ive always heard it called "chasing the dragon" which originated with opium.

    idk maybe i would just use something with lower heat like a hakko or the hot knife technique. I doubt ur gonna get a lot higher if u smoke the kief off of the foil compared to ripping it out of a bong

    It's not enough of a difference to do that, just smoke it, or vape it or whatever

    idk the technical definition might mean that but when someone says they freebased some coke last night it usually means they smoked it

    Heating it up still causes vapors to be released.

    its kinda like uhh..you dont have to smoke paint in order for it to kill you, you can just inhale the fumes alot.

    Only thing i smoke off foil is oc. occasionally ill smoke keif off of foil but only if im out of bud

    idk if that would work well, but i would just put it on top of a bowl of herb and smoke it :smoke:

    ^^^Using it for bowls/screens is different than trying to chase the dragon with it.

    OK for occasional use but don't make it a habit.
