flushing, is once enough?

    I think I may flush my gdp longer than 2 wks??? Using straight r/o water adjusted 5.5- 6.5 ph to the point of runoff but not more than the plant can reabsorb before i put them to sleep. A 5' x 5' room, 4 plants in 7 gal pots. Paying close attention to how they drink, the color of the runoff, anything I'm forgetting?

    I dont bother flushing. Flushing is a myth. Plants take what they need unless overfed too many nutes they burn, anyway nutes dont flush out of the plant with flushing and nutes dont build up in the buds if you feed nutes untill harvest.
    Dry slowly for 8-10 days or even longer to get good flavour and smoke and cure for 4-8 weeks before smoking or selling it.
    Will taste great if a good strain and phenotype.

    Just saying consensus among most growers is: flushing is a myth!

    Well maybe I'll not flush the clones when they are flowering & do the pepsi challenge later, IF I don't like the way these come out.

    That study shows flushing makes no difference, so you could save a couple bucks on nutes by flushing.
    However, I dont flush. I hate to starve the plants immune system right when they are most vulnerable to bad stuff like bud rot.

    This subject has many opinions. Most with success stories.
    If you are a flusher and your harvest meets or exceeds your expectation, maybe you should keep flushing.
    If you are a nute to the finish and your harvest meets or exceeds your expectation, maybe you should keep on that path.

    Perfect answer. Yes over fed it will taste like shit and clog the bongs with black ash. Two weeks of plain water is to much. Only go 7 days . Again if your not over feeding its not nessary anyways .
