Flushing is NOT working!

  1. Ok, I'll give a quick rundown.

    Soil grow. MG Organic.

Originally was using "Needle Meter" for Ph - totally screwed me.

A few weeks ago, I added some dry ferts to the soil along with some sulfur and epsom salt.

This bottomed out my PH, to the low 5's. I've since done 3 flushes over the past 2 weeks...each flush with 12-15 gallons of water...this last one was done with 18...

I'm still at 5.9 on my new Hanna PH meter. Water going in is reading 6.9...water coming out...5.9.

My question is...is it possible that the little pieces of wood and pinebark have absorbed the sulfur and is keeping the PH down?

What else can I do? I don't want to drown my girl...she is looking better, but getting white tips (Magnesium from what I've read)

I added about 1 quart of 5-13-4 ferts at end of flush so she would at least have some food.

    WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???
