Flushing Grow Pots to clean buildup

  1. I’m using coco/perlite. In wk 2 of flower. I was thinking about flushing the grow pots out with RO water -flooding the pots to drain/flush out any build up. Then re-flooding with fresh nutrient mix. Is there anything wrong with doing so?
    Thank yo

  2. there's a few products that will help to do that exactly, like florakleen. I do it from time to time without any problems.

  3. Why? Don't you feed to run off every time?

  4. If you do flush I recommend using ph’d water. You can use straight RO water but my theory is that the ph imbalance stunts the root hair ion exchange sites. I have flushed with non ph adjust water and ph adjusted water. Both worked but for peace of mind I just use ph adjusted water to flush.
