flushing before harvest, pure water

  1. Just a real quick question, how long should I water with just pure water before harvesting, in order to make sure there's no fertilizer taste in the buds?

I'm guessing about a week, which is two waters for me with my plant. Correct me if I'm wrong, because I want ZERO fert taste in my buds. Thx

  2. I remember reading somewhere that you are supposed to flush for at least two weeks. Not positive on that though. Hopefully someone else can be more specific. Peace.....:smoking:

  3. Answer in your other thread....

Not really a need to make repeat posts in diff. sections. ^_^ :smoking:

  4. fuck it we'll say it again. you are to flush for 2 weeks. make sure you are ph'ing your water to the approate levels. right before you pop your girls into the 2 days of darkness at the very end of your grow, give a heavy flushing to get rid of all the shit taste. you will notice that alot of the leaes will turn yellow. fear not this is just your plants using up nitrogen in them. it is normal. before you put your plant into the final stage also ckeck for spider-mites. had a crop once that was perfect until I opened the door to harvest and there were spider webs all over the damn place. I was a newb at the time and realized that I will never make that mistake again. PEACE!

  5. That's not exactly the advice I would give. I would say to flush once about two weeks before harvest and then water as needed without nutes thereafter.

I would not flush for two weeks.

Oh, and Meat, spider mites don't make spider webs, spiders do.

  6. toasty I think I realize what you are doing. I am not a newb and I will put my crop against your anyday of the week, but we need not go there. there is multiple ways to harvest a crop and all of us find ways to personilize it to fit our needs. I can guarantee when harmonic harvests he/she will do something different and stick with it throughout his/her growing experience. true?!
as far as spider mites are concerned educate yourself before you speak aloud. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider_mite
gl on your harvest harmonic and let us know how the yield ended up. PEACE!

  7. What would that be?
