  1. if you use fluoresent bulbs throughout the whole thing of your grow can it work? What fluoresent bulbs do i need to get to work best and how many bulbs to i need?

  2. you sure can use flos

you talkin about using T5s or CFLs

  3. im talkin about CFLs

  4. 5500k or 6500k for veg, 2700k for bloom

how many plants are you planning on growing?

  5. im planning on growing 1 male and 2 females.. i wanna breed the females..

  6. you wont need many bulbs for 3 plants.

5000 to 7000 lumens per sq ft of will work just fine

  7. so i would get only 2 bulbs of fluoresent of 5500 lumens.. would that work?

  8. for the bloom phase you can start with a couple big 2700k CFLs, and after your plants start getting bigger you can add light to your grow area as needed.

i use 26w 6500k 1600L for my veg area. i start with 2 bulbs for the babies, then add more bulbs as needed.

  9. ohh ok.. can you like 1 big 2700k for the whole grow cycle?

  10. Someone please give me a link to some good CFL's please

  11. The K in 6500k/2700k refers to the spectrum being emmited from the bulb. 6500K or blue is better suited for veg and the 2700k or red is best for flower. In answer to your question, yes, you can use 2700k through the whole grow but it will benefit you more if you get the right bulbs.

  12. hey i just picked up a two pick of 26w its daylight 6500k it for my veg
i got two bulbs whats the diff between worm light and cool light do i need a worm light in there what about using a 42w in the veg too just need a little help thank you

  13. I think the warm and cool refers to the K again. 6500k if perfect for veg but you will need more than 52 watts, so the addition of the 42 watts will help.

You should shoot for 100(actual) watts for the first plant and 50 more watts for each plant after.
