I'm on my way to starting my first grow and I'm building a box to do my seed germination and vegging in. I'd like to do all of it under a T5 fluorescent light then buy a HPS when it comes time to flower. I've been looking at buying a T5 from HTGsupply.com. It's a 2' four bulb light fixture. My question is will four two foot bulbs be enough to to veg a plant all the way through? I'd also like to be able to keep clone mothers growing under the light. Yeah four will definately be enough to veg one plant. As for the spectrum, go for the 6500k. It's better for vegging than the 3000k because it's 'blue-er'.
