when my crop is all dried out shes always light and fluffy????? what the hell is going on??? is it, not flowered long enough ( but i did leave them 10 weeks and tric's were cloudy/amber ) or lights to far away, but again 12 inchs max, or last one heat but i only peak at high 80 degrees............. Please someone help, smokes nice though and highs nice too..... just have to use alot as very light and fluffy lol
or last one, maybe in drying process???? fucks the weed up but really having no idea on this one people...
400watt HPS, im well venterlated and ppm is kept at nice levels growing in soil in 10ltr pots, plants 1 foot then flowered. maybe alittle higher trying ScROG with this next batch
What strain? Sativas tend to be lankier. What temps? Temps much above 80F during flower can cause fluffy buds.
brainstorm, yes shes a sativa, and some times she'd be alittle high during flowering. if this is the case, what can i do as temps wont go down any more as no mor eroom for anything lol also why does this happen? is it strain of plant im looking at changing??? if so what would people recomend?
if you want serious dense buds. go pure or close to pure indica. aka. try something white. if you want around 4 foot height try snow ryder. its a auto but not a mini. averages at finish 4 feet-ish. good haul strong its a very nice bud. real dense. and if you want that sativa rush your used to just harvest them when they are 80% cloudy
so really could be the fact of wronge plant, are all sativas fluffy??? but i wud prefere dense bud, anyone got any pics of sativas grown nice, up close??? so i can see if im close? lol
even for the sativa pics i found mine still are very fluffy compared to them??? could it be genetics or is it really high heats during flowering?
Hey man we have been talking about this over in the organic section. Here is some info for you in this thread. http://forum.grasscity.com/organic-growing/535824-organic-fert-creates-dense-buds.html What are4 the nutes you are using???? With soil I think you should be going organic, this allows you to reuse the soil. I think your problem may be the nutes. I did a little research on this and in flowering if your not running a high P ( NPK) ratio it can cause fluffy buds. Also if your sold on chems ferts then you can buy products that claim to make buds denser. The one think I know we will both agree on is that is to nice of looking bud to have all fluffy.
To some degree yes. Its based of trichs and when you harvest. You should read this,it will help you understand. Pictures on When to Harvest - Trichome colours - 420 Magazine
