  1. Alright so I have this one growing nice but it has little seed pots just starting.g today along with silver looking buds starting to grow Is there anyway to get rid of the starting few seed. Pods. Out? THANK YOU

  2. Everything I've read says to chop to avoid losing weight to seeds. Apparently when seeds start, the plants put their energy into making the seeds and forming resin to protect them. But I'm just offering what I've read, not an expert here by any means. Good luck to ya sir

You are correct. You will end up with the same quality as the MJ smuggled into the US from Mexico back in the day.

  4. aka, schwagg.

  5. Are you sure you have seeds? Did you have males in the area? Not much you can do but look after the seeds (nothing wrong with seeds) and the bud you get from around them is still good bud obviously you don't get as much. At least you will have seeds to start your grow again. But remember to rid those males early :)

  6. It depends on why the seeds are there.
1)If it got pollinated, it's possible that only a small area of the flower got it, while the rest of the plant will continue to grow sensi. If it's all over the plant, then yeah, you've got seeded bud coming to you. If it's the only plant you have going you could still harvest it and get something for your effort, but you may just want to start over.
2)It could be a hermaphrodite. If you did something to stress the plant and that caused the seeds to appear, then those are feminized seeds with the same genetics as the mother. Keep those. If you did nothing and the seeds just appeared (again, without pollen) then the plant just has a hermaphrodite tendency and you'll get schwagg.

  7. ^ I agree with this. :smoke:

  9. I know I'll get lots of arguments about this comment and that's ok. IMHO seeded weed doesn't effect potency much, if any. It only effects the volume you will harvest. You will have less weight in bud, and the rest will be seeds and stem.

Mexican brick is inferior in potency because of genetics, environment, harvest time, curing, and transport. All these variables effect potency greatly in any harvest especially, when you smuggle it in tires and gasoline tankers across the border.

Cannabis has been bred to produce tricomes for thousands of years, and also uses them as a defense to disease. Having seeds will not effect this. The "energy wasted" you speak of is true, in the fact that you will have less smokeable material.

I know this from personal experience breeding, as well as knowing other growers. Don't believe the hype, potency will not be effected much if any.

  10. I agree with the above, my seeded bud is always the same but just less of it. I breed myself so have had many seeded plants that I have tried
