Hello everyone, this is my first post ever, as well as my first grow ever. I wanted to know if my plants were flowering too early? I got them as clones about a month ago and have been growing them outside in 6 gallon pots and bringing them inside for supplemental light under an LED set up. However, due to a streak of bad weather and not having a super consistent lighting schedule (definitely trying to fix that), my plants seem to have started flowering. It seems to me that they aren't full enough to start flowering yet. They seem too skinny/there's too much empty space. I have been reading into the process as much as possible, but alas, I am still a n00b. I was wondering if I should let them flower and switch their light schedule or re-veg and how I would go about doing so. The strain is Blackwater OG. Supplemental information: I have used Kellog's soil, which ended up being too alkaline. I've added bloodmeal to lower pH, as well as worm compost tea and diatomaceous earth for a gnat problem I was having. Honestly, any tips in general are cool. Many thanks in advance, fellas.
For sure. So it'll naturally re-veg if I just keep them at that light cycle? Also, is there any benefit to 24 as opposed to 18-6? Thanks, Tiny Rick!
Yup, they will look fucky for a while, they will throw single bladed leaves. But after that they will be fine. I like 20\4 for veg, vegging plants seem to like a lil dark best. Growth seems better than 24 hours and no dark period at all
What strain clone ? What were your plans for it? Transplant into the ground eventually? Or veg it some and put it in its current pot on your patio etc.
Blackwater OG. I see that it's flowering time is 8-10 weeks but I'm unsure if that means from the very beginning or after the vegetative state. I was planning on keeping them in the pots
Its from start of 12\12/light sched I would veg em out some, a month or so and put them outside, your container is going to be a limiting factor for growth so you'll need to flower rather soon. Or transplant.
Yes they are flowering. You are growing auto dwarfs. 10 weeks and its harvest time. you may get an eighth per plant. Why are your soil levels so low in the pot? Don't you want a 6 foot sativa?
