flowering times

  1. Alright, so I have a question about flowering times for plants grown in different conditions.
Lets say the flowering time for a specific plant under a 400 w hps in soil is 8 weeks until the trichromes are looking perfect. Now say you grew that same strain in all the same conditions except it's in aeroponics instead of soil.
Would the flowering time be cut down from 8 weeks to like 6 weeks or would the buds simply grow larger in the same 8 week timeframe? I think the buds would just grow bigger, but want to be sure that grow methods don't affect how long it takes for the trichromes to turn and for the plant to reach it's highest THC content possible.

  2. They would be bigger but you could also harvest at the possible 6 weeks and still have the results from the 8 week grow.

  3. alright, thanks. But I'm still confused as to how the THC matures. Will the THC still need 8 weeks to mature to it's highest potency or will it mature faster like the rest of the plant?
