I've posted countless topics about this problem...but I have had no help thus far. Why are my plants slowly turning yellow on all the leaves, from bottom to top? Is this is a nitrogen deficiency? I've fed them each some miracle grow the past month. Not enough?? Please help me!!! I am going back there in 20 minutes to LOAD them the fuck up with miracle grow. I will read all posts within the next 20 minutes if I recieve any advice. Thank you!
It's a bad idea to feed them more BAD miracle grow. They're supposed to do that. Get some good flowering nutes and let them do what they do.
man when did miracle grow all of a sudden suck? 3 years ago people reccoemded it. and i wouldnt know what else to get...
no one has ever recommend miracle grow for Mj, its quite really for flowers, and not fruits and vegetables. Plus Miracle grow can sour the taste of any grow, besides looking at that windex looking stuff, it looks so un-organic. In the flower cycle, the plant will eat water leaves that it stored glucose in early to feed the flowers, soon near the end of the harvest, most of your water leaves will be dust, your hairs will turn orange, and trichomes will fill with milky thc. Enjoy your great grow and shelf the wal mart nutes.
by the way if you are wondering, dont even bother cutting them off, and if you do, cut it at the base of the leaf leaving about 1/4 in of leaf remaining, never cut the stem, as the stem can harm the plant at a cellular level and expose the plant to disease. Thought i give that thought, the question would of crossed my mind.
plants in the ground. ground full of minerals. humic acid, or kelp meal, contain powerful chelating agents that break up tough soils and release minerals to the plant. mineralized=green. instead of feeding the plant, feed the soil... its a MIRACLE of life...
Looks fine to me, far from dying.. They are supposed to yellow late in flower. Miracle grow does work, but it will probably negative effect the taste, and organic or most other ferts are better.
Your plant is eating the bottom leafs for energy and promoting top and side growth instead. it will happen from the bottom all the way up until the end of flowering. You can try a dose of Nitrogen but you're only prolonging nature.
i cant double quote on my phone. i thank you all for the replies and as hope suggested, i will try to find one of those products. ive only fed them a good amount of miracle grow tonight. ALSO they all just started to pre flower...the structure of the buds are barely starting
the only thing i could find from my local nurseries are blood meal and this kelp fert thats like 0-0-1? dont know what that means
They look pretty good to me but that yellowing is not natural. Plants shouldn't yellow until late into flowering and it looks like that has only been blooming a week or two. I am having the same problem with my plants though so I don't know how much help I would be. Try to rule out nute deficiency, fungus, pests by addressing each problem. That number is called the NPK ratio and it refers to how much of what type of nutes are in the fert. The first number is Nitrogen which is important and your problem looks a bit like an N deficiency. The second is phosphorus which is important in flowering and the third is potassium which is important for overall plant health. They don't have any bat guano or other fertilizers? Have you gone to a gardening store? Miracle grow might work but other stuff would be much better to be honest.
ohh okay that makes sense. also you are right, they have only been flowering for a week. you dont think blood meal is enough? i have to wait about a week anyways to use anything else...i just loaded them up with miracle grow for the first time yesterday.
Blood meal might help but what you really need is either a fertilizer or homeade tea. Blood meal is more of a soil booster rather than a real standalone fertilizer from what I understand. There are some good fertilizer info in cortos outdoor grow guide here http://forum.grasscity.com/outdoor-marijuana-growing/308969-outdoor-grow-guide.html
Okay, okay. How about this...what the hell do i say to an employee of a plant store/nursery/green house, when they ask what type of plant do i need fertilizer for? Also is all I'm looking for are a type of fert, high in nitrogen? Uhg. Everyone says something different!
that plant looks healthy to me... plants do drop some bottom leaves during flower.. it's becoming fall after all ya know..

If you never used nutes before then its probably a slight deficiency. The mg you put on will probably help a bit but its not very good. Just look for something thats like 2-8-4 (ff tiger bloom).
Makes sense. I suppose I will water them thoroughly for the next week, then possibly use some ferts? Although I live in CT, so many plant stores and such around here don't have much of what us kind of growers need for our plants.
