flowering myth or truth?

  1. Hi GC im two days into my first flowering stage and a close friend suggested that humidity is very good during this stage? Im skeptical and would very much like some advise from an experienced grower...

  2. ....you need to keep your humidity around 40%-60% ......60% while veg, 40% while flowering......you don't want high humidity during flowering, this can cause bud rot, powdery mildew, exc.....

  3. Yea, stay away from HIGH humidity, usually, just the room humidity itself should be fine, but like trichome Fiend mentioned, keep it higher in veg, lower in flower.

EDIT: High humidity in flower can lead to this, Bud Rot..

    No one wants...

  7. Pretty nice looking, bud. Is that a window or what? Just sort of curious about what sort of lighting you're using. And yeah, high humidity will generally cause more harm than good for any strain during its flowering period. Anything I could add would just be an echo of what has already been stated. Good luck!

  8. I am ashamed to say it is window I am awaiting funds for a 250watt hps set up

  9. Mourns HighPoints loss.

Thanks man will get a bigger pot in a few days. Also does anyone here know of a cheap yet effective lighting setup?? Cheapest 250watt set ive found was £75 and im EXTREMELY tight on funds at the mo, hence the window lol

  13. Your friend is wrong, as others have already noted. Too much humidity during flowering is like putting up a sign that says 'Mold and mildew are welcome here.'

  15. DIY some cfls, wiring tutorial in my sig. I'd highly recommend saving your money for an HID though, cfls should come later as secondary lighting, but it's not out of the question for a full grow.

  16. Guys more help is needed pls check and comment if u know , the new thread is entitled 'what the fuck is happening' peace
