I am considering a move soon and was wondering how my yeild will be affected after vegging for only one month? I will have to start flowering ASAP to have any chance of finishing before this move. My plants are anywhere from 10" to 14" tall but most likely the bigger ones will be the males. Is it still possible to average an OZ per plant flowering this early? I have learned alot in the last couple of months on here about indoor growing and when I get settled in my new place I want to start a journal with my beans that I got from the great people of the Attitude. Thanx for all the help on this thread and all my previous ones! BTW.. I am using a 600 watt HPS and a 400 watt HPS to flower.
You can flower for sure but it's hard to tell yield. That's based on plant genetics and various factors. Gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes. I'd say average 2 months flowering and they're going to double in size, so keep that in mind.
I have no choice really. I know that when I was just using one 400 watt light I was vegging for about two months but now I have three times the lumens and my plants are growing much faster. If I could get another ten days of vegging I could dramatically increase my yeild but as it is I will only have 8 weeks of flowering if I start now. Something is better than nothing I guess! Anyone ever move there plants from one place to another??
I'm not sure what your question is -- it seems like you have only one option and you realize that, so you already have your answer. Go ahead and flower.
Yeah I know its really my only choice but how bad will it effect my yeild? Is it possible to get as much as an OZ per plant that is flowered after only 30 days? I will have prob 10 small plants under 1000 watts of HPS in 3 to 5 gallon pots. I am growing bagseed on this run but the plants that the seeds came from were very large outdoor plants. What is the ideal height for maximum yeild and how much is it effected when the ideal height is not reached?
If your seeds came from some outdoor plants that were very large, then flip the switch now. The only time I grew some bag seed it was from some brick weed I got, and let me tell you they became monsters. And I only vegged a little over two weeks. When they were about 15 inches tall, they ended up being over 4 feet. I got about 6 Oz from each plant, but each one had a cola that was over 3 Oz all by itself. If you have your girls under a 1000 watt HPS, I can guarantee you will get over an Oz / plant. In fact, I'll say you'll probably get at least 2 Oz / plant, even if you start 12/12 as we speak.
if you get good plants and your next place is ok to grow you should take a few clones at around day 21 and do monster cropping so when you grow the clones at your new place theyll be huge
Yeah they are growing very fast and much larger compaired to my other indoor grows. They are like 12 to 14 inch tall bushes. This is my first grow with 1k watts ( 4 1/2 X 4 1/2 area ) The seeds are from an outdoor crop where some of the plants were 10 - 12 ft tall. Do you think since they are sativa dominate they will still branch out alot in this short vegging cycle or will they stay to a min? Do you think they will still double or triple in size?
they will at least double in size. I only veg for 1 month and I usually pull ~2oz dry from each plant. Ive gotten ~15g from a couple, and 3oz from others. 4 plant bubble setup, 1 month veg, scrog, 400w hps/mh
