Flowering light schedule question

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by romulaxx, Jun 27, 2009.

  1. I have some beauties about half way through flowering, but heat is sometimes becoming an issue, and I currently have the lights on from 10am-10pm.

Is there great stress caused to the plants if you are to change the hours of when the light is on? Like what if I switched the hours completely, with light on from 10pm-10am...doing the switch by having 24 hours of darkness, instead of light.....would this hurt them? (and if so, greatly or only a bit?)

I have employed other heat reducing measures, and have great ventilation, but having the light on during the night would help greatly, i'd easily be able to keep the temps in the 70's.

    Thanks,

  2. you got it right just give em 24 hours of darkness before you change the light schedule and you'll be fine :D
