Flowering light cycle.

  1. I have been wondering this for a while. If I were to germinate a seed and grow it under 12-12 of light and dark (flowering light cycle), what would happen?
Would it start showing its sex and flowering instantly as soon as it grows some nodes, or is there a certain height it would start flowering, or age, or would it not flower at all?
Fill me in on what you think/know would happen :hello:

  2. I dont know but have been wondering this too

  3. What your asking about is 12/12 from seed. Cannabis nearly all of it takes 20-30 days to be mature enough to be able to show sex. Just like a human must go X amount of years before that is capable of happening.

All you will do is have a much smaller plant since your only doing 12 hours of day light. The flowering takes the same amount of time.

Most indoor growers veg a month anyhow throw on 2 months of flower and you have the same amount of time if you had grown it normally.

If you google 12/12 from seed youll see lots of articles grow journals etc.

This same effect happens when people decide to grow late in the year like now. The plant will grow get to the 20-30 day mark then enter flowering.

  4. Awesome, that's just the answer I was looking for :D
