Gday ladies and gents, and thanks for joining my new thread. I'm planning to build out of a mars 2 x 2 tent kit to flower out a few Afghani males for a breeding project im working on. I still need to clear things out of my room this weekend, so I can set up the tent and crank er up. So much to do, hate moving furniture... gah! I'll be documenting two rounds of flowering males for your viewing pleasure. Lets get ready to rumble!
Got the tent set up. Still need to move furniture, and hang the light and all but I feel that I accomplished something. The fan is sitting in the filter, just gotta run the duct work.and hook it all up. This kit comes with a good amount of stuff. Gonna finish putting it together tomorrow and hang the light so I can transfer the dudes inside.
Ok, got everything together and the dudes are chilling. Off we go. These guys are about a week into flower.
Before I notice balls, I begin to suspect males by the attenuated growing tips even though there are sparse pistils forming. I don't see either in the pic you shared so I'm curious what made you suspicious? I've got yet another example even earlier in its expression which highlights the character of the emerging growth that makes me feel this newest contestant will reveal itself as a boy as well.
Hey dude, I'm about a week in and you can see upon close inspection the beginning formation of balls. I didn't take close ups, so you wouldn't have seen it, but here ya go...
Dayum, these guys are setting flower hard. Grew into the light in a day. Flowers are starting to pump up the jams.
A final frost that took out my fledgling Basil hasn't made a dent in the boys I'm letting finish outdoors.
Opened the tent today and a branch poofed pollen into the room. Looks like the dudes are ready, so i dropped them and will collect pollen when its dry.
Are those the Tashakor males? I popped two seeds and had one male. I'm 8 days into flower on my 2nd Tashakor plant. Talk about a stretching plant. She was tiny when I brought her into the tent. Within 8 days, more than half the tent is filled. I'm a little concerned because I've got absolutely no odor. Like I said I'm only at flower day number eight. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk
Yep, tashakor, I got two dudes and 6 girls. Some are very short, but I hear you, some got so big so fast they threw me for a loop. I was breaking necks all over the place. Don't stress the smell, I'm middle of week 4 and they're just starting to get stinky. Lots of fruity with sour type smells from where i can get to, but ill knew best in another week when it'll start getting chunky and i can get aome resin on my fingers. Next week should be the big stink push.
