does anyone have a great internet guide to the biology of the various flowering "stages" or progress to finish. First is the males showing. At about that time the females start stretching and will be showing buds about a week after the 1st male shows, right? Then the next few weeks there is budding but the plants are stretching like mad and forming colas, if you pinched them, two or three, otherwise one main one on top with popcorn buds around the bottom. Many peeps has their males show on the August 13th with full flowering by August 20th. So last week, the 4th week, the plants stopped stretching and growing, and are solely packing on bud. Now the pistils on top are browning and there are trichomes on the leaves, that started about 2 weeks ago, right? So what is going to happen now? Just more pistils, filliling of the colas with more pistils and more small leaves. then the shade leaves will yellow, do they always!!! yellow at maturity? trichomes darken and become amber, once they get to 75%, do they rush to 100% or do they stay like that? anyway, once the real cold comes, i think even though the mj might live, it certainly slows down growing to a standstill.
