Is this a bagseed grow? Cause I would just start as many as you can and then keep the females. Another thing is to let it grow a little more than that and take Some Clones and flower them To see. But what you're asking is possible I hear of Ppl doing it all the time tho I never have.
Yup good way to sex, 12/12 from seed, get sex, flip to 18/6 to veg. 24/0 if you want but that's preference for the grower.
With all due respect, I wholeheartedly disagree. Switching light cycles all willy-nilly like that are gonna stress your girls out. It'll definitely increase their chances of going hermaphrodite on ya later.
Not willy nilly, just going from 24/0 or 18/6 down to 12/12 to initiate flowering can cause herm, it's either gonna happen or not, not once have I had a seed that I started 12/12, sexed, switched to 18/6 to veg more for a one plant scrog or for mother plant go herm. Sativas or majorly inbred strains have herming happen just from burping near them lol if it's gonna happen it's gonna happen =)
