Flower light ?

I would think that using both MH and HPS would be better than just HPS. You would have a much broader spectrum of light using both at the same time. Although using just HPS for flowering would be fine as long as you have enough wattage for the size of the area.

 

I would stick to using a large enough hps for flowering and keep your mh for veg
